Christmas Palaver: 3 Killed In Abuja As Building Collapses

Three constructions workers died as
3 others were badly injured in Utako area of Abuja. Security agents, including
Police officers, operatives of Department of State Security Service(DSS), Bomb
disposal unit, Disaster Management and Rescue operation arms of both NEMA and
FEMA gathered at the construction site.
One of the survivors identified as
Musa Umaru said he couldn't remember anything else after waking up in the
hospital except being covered in a heap of sand at the construction site while
digging the foundation of the collapsed building. He was however, unable to
narrate the whole story about the tragedy. The survivor was able to list the
names of the other victims as, Ibrahim Musa, Yahaya Mamman, Rabi’u Mamman, Musa
Umaru and Surajo.
