It’s OK to check in on Facebook/Twitter/IG to update friends and family, but do not be glued to your devices 24/7 or you will miss that guy who just with all the free internet … nevermind. Just make real friends and enjoy the experience.

Don’t think, just eat all you can

You have to try any and everything you get your hands on! From fufu to kenkey to groundnut soup to kelewele to 3to, please try it all, because ones you head back out of Kotoka, you will never have the opportunity to try them again. Stomach pains? 2. Don’t drink tap water!

Please for your own sake, always opt for bottled water, and not just any bottled water  but the certified ones, that is the only way you can be sure it has been properly filtered!

Taxi drivers should be your BFF

They know any and everything from politics, sports to entertainment. They will give you all the information you need to know, best of all they know all the spots you should be visiting and will take you there so please switch off your GPS and Google maps.

Troski aka. public transportation should be your ‘homie’

We know must of you are used to your subways, nice buses with air conditioners and stuff. But do you know our buses can drop you off literally anywhere on your route?
