The video to the
controversial Star Wars: the Force Awakens
teaser was Published on Nov 28, 2014 and since
then has received mixed reviews from the racist jabs on the British-Nigerian actor John Boyega who starred in Half of a
Yellow Sun opposite Chiwetel Ejiofor to the unprecedented amount of YouTube
views.
Since then, according to a
YouTube partner company called Zefr, the trailer has been viewed an astonishing
63 million times across various online video versions — putting it far ahead of
some recent stiff competition, and already on track to become the most watched
movie trailer of all time.
