NFL player naked in background of Australian television interview

Australians tuning into morning TV got a cheeky surprise on Thursday morning.

Sunrise viewers were treated to a show as they watched the first interview with 49ers rookie Australian rugby league player Jarryd Hayne. As U.S Sunrise reporter Angela Cox interviewed his teammate Carlos Hyde in the locker room, a player was standing butt naked in the background and inadvertently got beamed halfway around the world.

Cox said she didn't realise what had happened until she watched the interview back. "Clearly I need to be paying more attention when I'm in the locker room - but a good day in the office, I'm not going to complain," she said, giggling.

Hayne has been training with the 49ers, with the hope of scoring a spot on the 53-man squad. In his press conference, he discussed the work he has been doing to learn the playbook and get up to speed with the game. He also said he has been missing Australian coffee and getting the regular questions about kangaroos and dangerous animals.
One thing is for certain, his naked 49ers teammate has got his game plays mastered.
