Shina Peters wife, Sammie Peters is reportedly battling with cancer
in the United States of America.
According
to blogger, Linda Ikeji, Mrs Peters is currently in the US receiving treatment.
Shina
and Sammie have been married for over 30 years. They had their traditional
marriage in 1982 and the church wedding in 1995.
In
an interview early last year, Sammie talked about her husband in glowing terms
saying, “I love my husband unconditionally, so everything about him thrills
me. When he is at home, when he is working, when he is laughing, everything
about him thrills me. So I think that is the secret of my patience, of my
endurance. I am able to take everything because I love him dearly and I don’t
want to lose him”.
It
will be recalled that Shina Peters is one of the mobile communications outfit,
MTN’s ambassadors, he was pictured with dance-hall crooner, Timaya which sparked rumours
of a collaboration between both artistes.
