A lot has been said about Rihanna and her ex boyfriend Chris Brown but not much is known about her parent or to be more specific, her Dad. Her father Ronald Fenty, blessed the world with Barbadian beauty Robyn Rihanna Fenty, but he’s been a constant cause of worry for the talented singer. Whilst RiRi is no saint herself, her father has problems on a whole other level.

Ronald has battled a drug addiction in the past, but in recent times his main problem has been an alcoholic one. In an interview with MailOnline, he has revealed how that has caused strains in his relationship with his famous daughter, the lengths she has gone to help him stop drinking, and other issues concerning RiRi.
Rihanna held a Diamond Ball event during the week, and Ronald got kicked out for drinking. The incident happened even before the singer got there, but she got wind of it and is furious with her dad, considering the lengths she has gone to got him back on track.
Rihanna apparently spent $58,000 to put him through rehab in Malibu, after he got arrested and the judge gave him the options of rehab or jail.

He also mentioned his frustrations with Rihanna’s entourage, claiming there were too many people around the singer exploiting her wealth. He reserved special disdain for Melissa Forde, Rihanna’s best friend since childhood.
“What’s the name of that place, that very expensive place, Harrods. We going in there and I just see her friends stocking up on shoes like crazy. Parasites”
“If it was up to me she (Melissa) would have to go. She’s the one who goes shopping and everything.
I think Melissa should be old enough to stand on her own two feet”
Ronald also touched on Chris Brown, who famously got in trouble for abusing Rihanna when the pair was going out. Whilst he retains great admiration for Chris and his talent, he feels his daughter is done with him for good.
He revealed how they were at a charity basketball game in August, and how Rihanna coldly brushed off Brown who was trying to initiate conversation.
“I don’t know what their relationship is now. At the basketball they just said ‘hi and hello’
When we was going to the car park he was trying to talk with her but she turned and was talking to someone else”
“Chris is a player. He ain’t ready for no one woman yet. He’s a party guy” He said, on whether he thought the pair could get back together.
Gossip sites have been agog with news of a possible pregnancy for RiRi, but Ronald brushed that off.
“No she’s not pregnant, but I want someone to start giving me grandchildren!”
On any potential marriage, he said she was waiting on the right man, but she might be looking in the wrong direction.
“She needs to find the right man who’s compatible. They don’t have to be in the entertainment, but that’s the people she’s meeting”
