Pre-MTV VMA party; Chris Brown Shot at but Suge Knight Gets hit

Chris Brown's pre-MTV Video Music Awards party this Sunday was one of those historical moments in the music industry yet again but from a negative light. He was shot at by some unknown gunmen though it has been speculated to be gang related. The shooting took down a couple of people and among them is the legendary including Marion "Suge" Knight

 

"The family of Suge Knight ask that you keep Suge in your prayers and to stray away from the negativity portrayed by the media," the statement read. "Suge is currently resting and has lost a lot of blood, he's human. He's done a lot of things for the community and the culture as a whole so we ask that you respect that.”

Now if you are wondering who Suge Knight is then you were properly born in  the 90’s. He has been around the music industry from way back in the days, as a matter of fact he is one of the pioneers.  He is the co-founded Death Row Records in the 1991 alongside rappers like The D.O.C., Dr. Dre and Dick Griffey.  

I took my time to put this article together because i was greatly influenced by the music that came out of his record eg. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur, MC Hammer and other West Coast artists. Perhaps the only thing more extensive than Knight's influence on the West Coast rap scene is his personal rap sheet. Knight was in the car when Shakur was shot outside a Las Vegas nightclub, and has long been suspected — though never formally implicated — in the deaths of Shakur and his East Coast rival Biggie Smalls.

He was in prison from 1997 to 2001 on a probation violation, and went back in 2003 after striking a parking lot attendant. In 2008 he was knocked out in a fight outside a Hollywood nightclub and hospitalized, but refused to cooperate with the LAPD’s investigation.

 

A few months later he was arrested outside a Las Vegas strip club where officers found him assaulting his girlfriend and brandishing a knife; he was arrested on drug charges that were later dropped. He was implicated in a 2009 home-invasion robbery and was arrested for drugs and traffic violations in Las Vegas in 2012.

Now how did Chris Brown get in to this picture? If you recall Chris just came out of prison  well i guess he made some new friends. Eyewitnesses at the club where Chris did his pre VMA party has it that Brown was throwing up gang signs before the shooting inside 1OAK early Sunday and he was performing with a red bandana -- the Bloods' moniker . Game who got in a fight outside 1OAK before the shooting because they wouldn't let him in is a known and proud member of the Bloods and am sure you all know Game flaunts blood all the time in his songs and dressing so it’s only natural that Chris will do the same with his album which he called Blood Money. As for Suge ... one of the most notorious things about him is his Bloods affiliation. And we know ... cops are interested in this -- there were several known gang bangers surrounding Chris at the time of the shooting. This could all be problematic for Brown . He's still on probation in the Rihanna beating case, and hanging with gang members and throwing gang signs is not going to impress the judge.
